Terms of Service

This English text is a convenience translation. The Japanese version is the authoritative one; if the two differ, the Japanese text governs.

These terms set out the conditions for using Vitals ("the Service"). By using the Service you are deemed to have agreed to them.

1. What the Service is

The Service is a free Apex Legends rank tracker operated by an individual. It periodically records the rank of registered and favorited game accounts and charts their progression. Rank data is sourced from the public Apex Legends Status API. The Service is unofficial and unaffiliated with EA or Respawn Entertainment.

2. Accounts

Some features require signing in with a Discord account. Users are responsible for managing their own account; the operator is not liable for unauthorised use by third parties.

3. Prohibited conduct

The following are prohibited when using the Service.

Conduct that violates law or public order and morals
Unauthorised access, or attempts at it
Placing undue load on the servers — circumventing rate limits, excessive automated access such as scraping, and the like
Impersonating others, or infringing the rights of others
Interfering with the operation of the Service

In the event of a violation, measures such as suspending the account may be taken without prior notice.

4. Changes, suspension and termination

The operator may change, suspend or terminate the Service without prior notice to users. As a free service run by one individual, continuous availability is not guaranteed.

5. Disclaimers

The rank data shown depends on an external public API; its accuracy, completeness and timeliness are not guaranteed.
Preservation of recorded rank history is not guaranteed. If data is lost, there is no obligation to restore it.
The operator is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

6. Intellectual property

Rights to Apex Legends and its trademarks and in-game content belong to Electronic Arts Inc. and Respawn Entertainment. Rights to the Service's logo, design and program belong to the operator.

7. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertising (Google AdSense) to cover running costs. For how advertising data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed as needed. Significant changes will be announced on this page. Revised terms take effect when posted here.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute concerning the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location.
